UP election results 2022: “The test is yet to be total. The moment has come now for choices,” Samajwadi Event chief Akhilesh Yadav tweeted

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has said thanks to event employees as checking is underway in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2022. Early leads reveal the BJP is in advance in UP.

“The test is yet to be complete. The moment has actually come now for decisions. My sincere many thanks to every worker, supporter, leader, workplace bearer as well as well-wishers of the Samajwadi Event as well as partnership for being alert and also energetic, day and night, at counting centers,” Mr Yadav tweeted, referring to the controversy over allegations that some aspects attempted to remove electronic voting machines, or EVMs, from a solid space in UP.

“Sepoys of democracy return just with a certificate of victory,” Mr Yadav tweeted.


Mr Yadav had alleged the BJP was trying scams. “Treat the counting centres as the expedition of freedom. Go there and also persevere,” Mr Yadav claimed. “The SP partnership is winning, that is why the BJP is trying to commit fraud,” he included.

He carried Tuesday affirmed the ruling BJP tried to swipe votes. A truck supposedly carrying EVMs was “intercepted” in Varanasi, however the Election Commission later on made clear that the machines were for training officials on counting duty and were not used in the elections.

In a statement on Tuesday night, the office of the chief selecting policeman of Uttar Pradesh said “rumours were spread by individuals of some political party by quiting the vehicle and affirming that these EVMs were made use of in political elections”.
