Apple will hold a product event on Tuesday afternoon, where it is expected to show its newest iPhone. Reports say the phone could be slimmer than before and may include better battery life and an improved front camera.
Key Details
-
The annual Apple event starts Tuesday at 1 p.m. EDT and will stream live on YouTube, Apple’s website, and Apple TV.
-
Apple has not confirmed the products yet, but many reports suggest the company will reveal the iPhone 17 and a new Apple Watch.
What Do We Know About The iPhone 17?
The new iPhone 17 is expected to have a better battery. This is because Apple may replace SIM cards with eSIMs, saving space for a bigger battery. Reports say the iPhone 17 Pro will have about 6.6% more battery power.
Apple may also release a new model called the iPhone 17 Air. It will be cheaper and thinner—about one-third thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro. However, it will only have one back camera and less power compared to other models.
The high-end versions, iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, are expected to come with faster processors, better cameras, and a feature that lets you record videos using the front and back cameras at the same time.
How Much Will The New iPhones Cost?
Apple hasn’t shared official prices yet, but leaks give us some ideas:
-
iPhone 17: around $799
-
iPhone 17 Pro (256GB): around $1,099 (Apple may remove the cheaper 128GB option that used to cost $999)
-
iPhone 17 Air: expected between $899 and $949
-
iPhone 17 Pro Max: expected to start at $1,199
Will There Be A New Apple Watch?
Yes, Apple may announce three new models: Apple Watch Ultra 3, Series 11, and SE 3. They could have faster chips and bigger screens. Prices are not confirmed yet, but current models cost:
-
SE: $299
-
Series: $499
-
Ultra: $799
What Other Apple Products Could Be Updated?
-
AirPods Pro 3: Apple may reveal them soon, possibly with smaller charging cases.
-
AirTag 2: A new version is expected with longer range, better connectivity, and new safety features to reduce misuse for tracking people.
