A joint maritime armed forces workout is underway in South Africa involving China and also Russia along with the South African navy.
The multilateral naval drills, named as Workout Mosi II, are set up to last until the 27th of February.

The first joint maritime exercise including marine forces from China, Russia as well as South Africa occurred in Cape Town in November 2019.
