Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II Black Badge 2025
The 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II Black Badge is in a league of its own—a clear standout in a crowded SUV market. While other SUVs might have more space, power, or features, the Cullinan’s unmatched luxury makes comparisons pointless. This five-seat Rolls-Royce represents the ultimate in exclusivity in a world of ordinary, mass-produced vehicles.
Rolls-Royce launched the Cullinan in 2018 as its first SUV and all-wheel-drive vehicle, and it quickly became a hit. By 2019, it was the fastest-selling Rolls-Royce ever. Recently, the company unveiled the updated 2025 Cullinan Series II. This refreshed version features a new front and rear design, upgraded technology, improved interior materials, and even more customization options for its elite customers.
Every Cullinan is special, but the “Black Badge” version brings a unique edge. Designed for those who prefer bold, dark materials over the bright chrome of the standard model, Rolls-Royce describes it as “an expression of authority” created for the daring and fearless, whether driving by day or night. Its darker, more discreet look replaces the usual shiny finishes, giving it a sleek and mysterious appearance.

The Cullinan is built on Rolls-Royce’s Architecture of Luxury (A.O.L) platform, a lightweight yet strong aluminum spaceframe chassis inspired by aerospace engineering. Every detail is crafted with precision. Its advanced air suspension system, known as the “Magic Carpet Ride,” adjusts automatically using cameras and GPS (“The Flagbearer”) to ensure a smooth and perfectly balanced ride. Lightweight aluminum alloy body panels add to its durability, and the 23-inch wheels, each made from a single block of forged aluminum, are not only strong but also elegantly designed with self-righting centers.
For years, Rolls-Royce described its cars’ horsepower simply as “adequate.” Now, the company confidently highlights the power of the Cullinan, driven by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine delivering an impressive 592 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse of an engine is a masterpiece of combustion engineering—silky smooth yet incredibly strong. All-wheel drive comes standard, ensuring capability and control in any situation.
The Cullinan stands out for its flawless craftsmanship, meticulous design, and unmatched luxury. It comes loaded with every imaginable feature—and even more. Highlights include the signature Effortless Entry coach doors with power closing and the mesmerizing Shooting Star Headliner. Rolls-Royce is all about exclusivity and customization—these cars aren’t just built; they’re commissioned.
Clients can select from premium full-grain leathers (sourced from bulls to avoid stretch marks), exquisite woods from around the world (even from a tree on your property), and an incredible palette of 44,000 colors—or create your own if none suit you. If you can dream it, Rolls-Royce will likely make it a reality.
Driving the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is an unmatched experience. Once the doors close, the cabin becomes a silent oasis, shutting out all outside noise. Sitting in the driver’s seat feels like a throne—elevated, commanding, and atop some of the most comfortable seats imaginable. One dealership advisor even confided, “The seats sell the Cullinan—they’re better than anything else out there.” Despite its massive size and dominating presence, the Cullinan is surprisingly agile thanks to all-wheel steering, making tight maneuvers like school drop-offs effortless.
The V12 engine starts smoothly and settles into a quiet idle. When pushed, it delivers impressive acceleration, reaching 60 mph in under 5 seconds, with a steady and effortless pull. The ride quality is extraordinary. The Cullinan glides over bumps and potholes as if they’re barely there, much like the sensation of being on the upper deck of a 747 when its landing gear meets the runway—distant and disconnected. Wind noise? None. Engine noise? Practically non-existent during steady cruising. It’s driving, elevated to an art form.
Driving the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is smooth and stress-free. Though it’s a large SUV, you’ll quickly get used to its size, especially with the help of multiple cameras for easy maneuvering. Despite its 6,000-pound weight, it never feels bulky or overwhelming. Inside the cabin, there’s an undeniable sense of safety and serenity—a feeling that no matter what’s happening outside, you’re secure in a luxurious cocoon.
For onlookers, the Cullinan makes a bold impression. The Spirit of Ecstasy atop the illuminated Pantheon grille seems to radiate a presence that announces the arrival of something extraordinary. It’s a rolling symbol of exclusivity and prestige, unmistakable from a distance.
And yes, with an as-tested price of $569,350, it’s a major investment. But for what it offers—unparalleled craftsmanship, comfort, and presence—it’s worth every penny.
