There were greater than 40,000 incidents of people reporting concerns with the globe’s biggest internet search engine, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a variety of resources consisting of user-submitted errors on its system.

Google did not instantly respond to a Reuters ask for remark.
