Mohali blast: Arvind Kejriwal, whose Aam Aadmi Party holds power in Punjab, called it a cowardly act and also stated all perpetrators will certainly be penalized drastically.

In his initial comment a day after an RPG-like strike at Punjab Authorities’s intelligence head office in Mohali, Chief Priest Bhagwant Mann today asserted that anyone tried to ruin the environment of the state will certainly not be saved.

“Punjab Authorities is investigating the blast in Mohali. Anyone who attempted to spoil the environment of Punjab will certainly not be saved,” Mr Mann said.

Delhi Principal Preacher Arvind Kejriwal, whose Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) holds power in Punjab, called it an afraid act as well as said all culprits will certainly be penalized seriously.

“Mohali blast is a cowardly act of those that intend to interrupt the peace of Punjab. Aam Aadmi Celebration’s Punjab federal government will certainly not enable those people’s wishes to be met. Peace will certainly be kept under all conditions with the participation of all individuals of Punjab and the perpetrators will be punished seriously,” he tweeted.

In the Monday night assault, a rocket-propelled explosive or RPG was discharged from the street, authorities said, including that the blast was a small one. The RPG smashed glasses at the Punjab Police’s intelligence head office, they said.

“A minor surge was reported at the Punjab Police Intelligence Head office in sector 77, SAS Nagar at around 7.45 PM. No damages has actually been reported. Senior policemans get on the place and an examination is being done. Forensic teams have actually been called,” the Mohali cops stated in a declaration.
