Previous US head of state Donald Trump on Monday decried the congressional probe right into the riot by his advocates in 2014 at the US Capitol as a “mockery of justice”.
In a rambling, 12-page missive, Trump claimed that as opposed to concentrating on the country’s bigger problems, the Democratic-led panel was “a Kangaroo Court, intending to sidetrack the American people from the terrific discomfort they are experiencing.”
“The reality is that Americans appeared in Washington, DC in huge numbers … on January sixth, 2021, to hold their chosen officials responsible for the obvious indicators of criminal activity throughout the Election,” Trump added.
