The moments of panic were captured on video camera that showed personal belongings spread on the flooring of the SpiceJet aircraft and also oxygen masks downed as the plane made its method with the harsh patch.

Frightening visuals have emerged from inside the SpiceJet airplane from Mumbai that dealt with severe air disturbance on Sunday evening throughout its descent at the Durgapur flight terminal in West Bengal.

Minutes of panic captured on cam revealed items scattered on the flooring of the aircraft as well as oxygen masks down as the aircraft made its way via the harsh patch. Also the cabin baggage dropped on the travelers.

At the very least 17 people, including 14 guests and 3 cabin staff participants suffered injuries. Some of them have experienced head injuries as well as got stitches, air travel regulatory authority Directorate General of Civil Air Travel (DGCA) said. One traveler has complained of a back injury.

The guests were given clinical aid immediately upon arrival in Durgapur, claimed a SpiceJet speaker.

“There were three jerks during the descent. It was much more intense than what occurs in an auto,” defined a guest seen with his head bandaged.

SpiceJet expressed regret in the occurrence.

“On May 1, SpiceJet Boeing B737 aircraft running flight SG-945 from Mumbai to Durgapur encountered serious turbulence during descent which regrettably resulted in injuries to a few passengers,” the SpiceJet agent said.

The DGCA claimed they are deputing teams for regulative investigation. Director (air security) HN Mishra will probe the occurrence. Medical reports of those hurt are waited for.
