Head Of State Narendra Modi hailed Murali Sreeshankar’s silver medal win in the Male’s Lengthy Dive last at the Republic Games as a “special” triumph. In a tweet uploaded today, the Prime Minister said that “his efficiency augurs well for the future of Indian sports”.

“M. Sreeshankar’s Silver medal at the CWG is an unique one. It desires decades that India has won a medal in Guys’s long jump at the CWG. His performance augurs well for the future of Indian athletics. Congratulations to him. May he keep mastering the times ahead,” Prime Minister Modi claimed.
