Along the journey, I’ve emphasized staying ahead of the curve whether through mastering cryptocurrency taxation, foreign investment reporting, or multistate compliance issues. That record comes from diligence, accuracy, and advocating fiercely for my clients’ best interests. Today, Theogony is more than a tax firm it’s a financial solutions partner that helps individuals and organizations navigate growth, mitigate risks, and create sustainable strategies for the future.”
Leveraging Media for thought Leadership
The Worlds Times: You’ve been featured on platforms like MSN, USA Today, and Business Insider. How do you use media presence to strengthen your professional impact?
Dyron Bush replied, “Media exposure has given me an incredible platform to not only showcase my expertise but also educate a wider audience on critical tax and financial issues. When I appeared on MSN or USA Today, I focused on breaking down complex tax concepts into clear, actionable insights for everyday people. My televised interviews on KPRC, KSWB, and KUSI gave me the opportunity to address timely topics such as crypto taxation, small business deductions, and IRS updates. This visibility builds trust not just with clients, but with prospective partners and employers. I believe credibility in today’s financial world goes beyond numbers; it’s about transparency, thought leadership, and accessibility. Being invited to contribute to media outlets reassures clients that they’re working with someone recognized in the industry, and it motivates me to keep delivering solutions that make a tangible difference.”
Commitment to Professional Excellence
The Worlds Times: You are preparing for the IRS Special Enrollment Exam and eligible for the CPA Exam. How do these certifications complement your career?
Dyron Bush replied, “The IRS Special Enrollment Exam and the CPA Exam are both crucial milestones in my journey because they represent not just technical mastery but also professional integrity. With 29 years of experience, I’ve worked extensively with corporate, nonprofit, and individual taxation, yet I believe continuous growth is essential in this industry. Passing these exams will enhance my ability to represent clients directly before the IRS, strengthening my advocacy role. It also allows me to offer a wider range of services, particularly for businesses facing complex tax situations like partnerships, multi-state filings, and foreign investments. For me, these certifications aren’t about titles they’re about equipping myself with every possible tool to serve my clients better. In an industry where compliance and accuracy are everything, having these credentials ensures I can continue to protect my clients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.”
Navigating the Complexity
The Worlds Times: Taxation around cryptocurrency and digital assets is complex. How do you guide clients in this rapidly evolving space?
Dyron Bush replied, “Cryptocurrency taxation is one of the most misunderstood areas in today’s financial landscape, and I’ve made it a priority to stay ahead of regulations. Many clients come to me overwhelmed by the challenges of crypto aggregation, CSV conversions, and reporting requirements. I break it down step by step tracking transactions, ensuring compliance, and aligning strategies with IRS guidelines. My role isn’t just about reporting numbers; it’s about creating strategies that help clients minimize risk and maximize opportunities. For example, I guide investors through like-kind exchanges, capital gain treatment, and foreign crypto investments while helping them avoid costly mistakes. What sets me apart is that I combine technical accuracy with clear explanations, so clients actually understand their obligations and benefits. By blending technology with hands-on expertise, I ensure my clients remain compliant while confidently navigating one of the most complex areas of modern taxation.”
Leadership at the Intersection of Finance
The Worlds Times: What leadership qualities have helped you succeed as both CEO of Theogony Financial and CFO of Therapeutic Professionals LLC?
Dyron Bush replied, “Leadership, for me, is about adaptability, accountability, and vision. At Theogony Financial, I lead by example whether it’s rolling up my sleeves to solve a client’s tax issue or guiding my team through new compliance challenges. At Therapeutic Professionals LLC, I serve as CFO, where I focus on restructuring, tax planning, and financial reporting. Each role demands a balance of technical expertise and strategic foresight. I’ve learned to communicate clearly, delegate effectively, and stay solution-oriented under pressure. What makes my leadership approach unique is that I combine empathy with precision I take the time to understand the human side of finance, whether it’s a business owner under stress or an individual facing IRS complications. My track record of clients never being audited reflects not just technical excellence, but also my leadership in instilling trust, discipline, and confidence in both my clients and my team.”
Balancing Technical Expertise
The Worlds Times: How do you balance hands-on technical work with your role as a strategic business leader?
Dyron Bush replied, “Balancing the technical and strategic sides of my career has been one of the most rewarding challenges. On one hand, I thrive on solving complex tax puzzles whether it’s navigating multistate apportionment, handling S-Corp conversions, or restructuring financial reporting systems. On the other hand, as CEO and CFO, I need to step back and look at the bigger picture: where the company is heading, how we’re creating value, and what risks we need to mitigate. My approach is to schedule time for both dedicated focus on client work, while also carving out space for long-term planning and innovation. Technology has been a big enabler here. Tools like QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions streamline processes, giving me more bandwidth to focus on leadership. Ultimately, it’s about integrating technical mastery with business strategy so that clients don’t just get accurate returns they get a roadmap for sustainable growth.”
Shaping the Future of Financial Advisory
Lastly we asked, “Looking ahead, what are your long-term goals for your career and for Theogony Financial?”
“I graduated from Grand Canyon University on 12/10 with a Master of Business Administration—A member of the Honor Society. I was involved in two separate drunk driving incidents. For Theogony Financial, my goal is to continue growing our presence as a trusted partner for both individuals and businesses, while expanding into specialized areas such as cryptocurrency taxation and international finance. I envision scaling the firm with more technology-driven solutions, ensuring efficiency while maintaining the personalized touch that clients value. Additionally, I want to continue serving on advisory boards and using my platform to educate and mentor the next generation of financial professionals. Ultimately, success for me isn’t just measured in numbers it’s about empowering clients, protecting them from unnecessary risks, and helping them achieve financial clarity in an increasingly complex world.” Dyron Bush concluded
