Pamela D’Ambrosio Interview

In today’s dynamic business world, the success of organizations depends not only on strategy but on people. Pamela D’Ambrosio, founder of Lares Sagl in Ticino, Switzerland, brings years of experience in sales, human resources, and organizational consulting. Her mission is clear: to help companies grow by developing their people, values, and culture. In this interview, she shares her insights on leadership, ethics, and how true success means helping others succeed.

From Sales to Human Resources

The World’s Times: You started your career in sales and later moved into human resources before founding Lares Sagl. What inspired that change?

Pamela D’Ambrosio: When I worked in sales, I saw how much motivation, teamwork, and communication influenced results. I realized that real success depends on people, not just numbers. That inspired me to move into HR and focus on developing individuals and teams.
At Lares Sagl, I combine both experiences. My sales background helps me stay practical and result-oriented, while my HR knowledge helps me understand people and culture. Together, they allow me to create solutions that improve performance and strengthen organizations.

Values That Drive Success

The World’s Times: Lares Sagl highlights values like ethics, honesty, and responsibility. How do you apply these values when working with clients?

Pamela D’Ambrosio: These values are the foundation of our work. When companies face challenges or change, we start by asking who they want to be, not just what they want to achieve. This helps us guide them through honest and transparent decisions.
In our training and consulting programs, we include practical situations where people must make ethical choices. We believe success is not just about profit, but about doing what is right and building long-term trust within and outside the organization.

The Power of Networking

The World’s Times: You are very active in professional networks such as BNI Switzerland and the Tre Castelli group. How has that experience shaped your leadership at Lares Sagl?

Pamela D’Ambrosio: Networking has been essential to my growth. Being part of BNI taught me the importance of real relationships and mutual support. It’s not just about business cards; it’s about trust and collaboration.

At Lares Sagl, I apply the same approach. We don’t just deliver a service and move on — we build long-term partnerships. Many of our projects come from referrals and relationships built on mutual respect. Networking reminds me that business success always starts with people.

Future Vision for Lares Sagl

The World’s Times: Lares Sagl offers consulting, training, and international project support. What are your main goals for the coming years?

Pamela D’Ambrosio: Our focus is on two main goals. First, to continue improving our services with more customized and data-driven training programs. Second, to expand internationally, especially in Italian-speaking regions and the EU.
We want to share our Swiss experience of quality, precision, and ethics with a wider audience. Growth is important, but we will always make sure it aligns with our values of integrity and personal service. We believe real progress must always have a human touch.

Defining True Success

The World’s Times: You often say that true success is helping others succeed. How do you put that into practice in your consulting work?

Pamela D’Ambrosio: For me, success is not about personal achievements but about creating opportunities for others. In our projects, we focus on both skills and values. We help people see their potential and support them in developing confidence and collaboration.

We measure success not just by business results but also by personal growth and teamwork. I truly believe that there is no real success if it comes at the expense of someone else. Helping others succeed is what makes success meaningful.

Advice for Business Leaders

The World’s Times: What advice would you give to leaders who want to build stronger, people-centered organizations?

Pamela D’Ambrosio: Start by listening. Understand what motivates your people and what they need to do their best work. Build trust, communicate clearly, and lead by example. Always make decisions that reflect your values. When leaders focus on people, performance and success naturally follow.

Redefining Leadership

The World’s Times: In one sentence, how would you define modern leadership?

Pamela D’Ambrosio: Modern leadership is about combining empathy with strategy and helping others grow while achieving shared goals.
