Jack Daniel’s, which is owned by Brown-Forman, has released a new blackberry-flavored whiskey.

This new drink has 35% alcohol and joins the brand’s other flavored whiskeys, like Honey, Fire, and Apple.

It’s made by blending Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey with natural blackberry flavor.

Chris Fletcher, the company’s master distiller, said that the smooth taste of their whiskey makes it great for mixing with new flavors. He said the blackberry flavor makes the drink easy to enjoy, full of character, and good for any time of year.

The whiskey has a sweet and slightly tangy blackberry taste. You can drink it on its own, over ice, or in a cocktail.

Jack Daniel’s isn’t the first brand to try this flavor—Crown Royal, owned by Diageo, also released a blackberry whiskey in April last year.

In a June earnings call, Brown-Forman CEO Lawson Whiting said blackberry is a popular flavor trend around the world. He explained that the company uses consumer feedback and trends to come up with new products that people will enjoy.

In the year ending April 30, 2025, Brown-Forman’s whiskey sales rose by 1%. Among Jack Daniel’s flavored whiskeys, Fire went down by 2%, but Honey and Apple went up by 2% and 3%.

Other new Jack Daniel’s products this year include a Vanilla Coke ready-to-drink mix and a special 14-year-old whiskey, the oldest they’ve released in 100 years.

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Blackberry is now available in the U.S. in 750ml bottles, priced at around $21.99.

In May, Brown-Forman also changed how it distributes its products in the U.S., forming new partnerships in 13 states.
