EU countries will send out “boxer jets” to Ukraine at Kyiv’s demand to aid it counter the Russian air and land assault, the bloc’s foreign policy principal Josep Borrell stated Sunday.

“We’re going to give also fighting jets. We’re not speaking about simply ammunition. We are offering more important arms to visit a war,” he told an interview.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has told the EU “they require the type of dealing with jets that the Ukrainian army is able to run … some participant states have these kinds of aircrafts,” Borrell said.
